A mortgage broker works for you — not the bank. We have access to 90+ lenders, do the research and paperwork, and stay in touch after settlement. Our service is typically free because we’re paid by the lender, not you.

What a broker does

Going direct to a bank means you see one set of products — theirs. A broker compares across 90+ lenders, so you get a genuine choice. We explain the options in plain English, handle the paperwork, and keep you updated every step of the way.

The process — from first chat to settlement and beyond

1. We have a proper chat

Over the phone, in person, or over coffee — whatever’s easiest. We’ll ask about your goals, your timeline, and what matters to you. No pressure, no jargon.

2. We do the heavy lifting

We research across 90+ lenders, run the numbers, and come back with a shortlist of options that genuinely suit your situation — with honest pros and cons.

3. We guide you through the paperwork

We explain every document, handle every form, and keep you updated at every stage. You’re never left wondering what’s happening.

4. Settlement — and beyond

We celebrate with you when the keys arrive. Then we keep checking in, monitoring rates, and making sure your loan keeps working as hard as you do.

How brokers are paid

In most cases, our service is free to you. We’re paid a commission by the lender — not by you. The lender pays us because we bring them a qualified, well-prepared client, which saves them acquisition costs.

There may be some situations where a fee applies — for example, for complex or specialist loans. We’ll always be upfront about this from the very beginning. No surprises.

Is a broker right for me?

  • You want choice. If you’d rather compare 90+ lenders than walk into one bank, a broker makes sense.
  • You’re time-poor. We handle the research, paperwork, and follow-up so you don’t have to.
  • Your situation is unusual. Self-employed, contractor, unusual income, credit history concerns — we know which lenders understand these situations.
  • You value a relationship. If you want someone who remembers your name and stays in touch after settlement, that’s us.
